Our yearly symposium unites artists, scholars, and nostalgia enthusiasts around of generative nostalgia, or to use nostalgia in a way that produces newness — insights, critiques, belonging, community, and so on.
This year, our symposium is set on Friday 13, February 2026 at the 4TH SPACE, Concordia University. In addition to traditional paper presentations, we also have a research creation expo, celebrating artists who explore generative nostalgia.
