Each year, the Nostagain Network hosts its symposium which unites artists, scholars, performers, and nostalgia enthusiasts to explore generative nostalgia.
Generative nostalgia is a term we came up with in 2022 and this has underscored all of our events, workshops, and research. The goal is to explore how nostalgia — a word often tied to the past, passiveness, and loss — can help us create new futures, blueprints for social action, forms of rekindled belonging.
This page will host all program, venue, and registration details BEFORE the symposium. After the symposium has concluded, that year’s iteration will get its own page on the network’s Events list.
